Hm.
To me, it seems like he relates drugs to a love interest. Saying how this girl just seems to make everything better for him; make his life worth it.
I think he tries to relate that to how drugs make you feel, I guess.
And the other half of it: How this girl may have rejected him, or there is certain reasons he should not be with her. Just like drugs are bad for you.
