I agree with l0ngdivision, I've listened to both songs many times and I can't help but feeling that it is from a females view point. Also the majority of Parenthetical Girls songs deal with aspects femininity (examples: The Weight she Fell Under, Stolen Children, I was the Dancer) so it would make sense that this song and Love Connection, pt. II would, too.
