to me this song is about a one-night stand... maybe more. anyway it's another she-told-me-things-she-didn't-mean heartbreak kinda song. everybody's been there, you go out with the girl, feelings are sky-high at the start, but in the end you realize she did nothing more than led you on.("you tell me with a whisper of things that'll never be)
