At face value, the song seems to be about Anthony's problems in his life. I'm not sure if there might be a deeper meaning, but this is my interpretation after a couple listens: He has a tendancy to turn his problems into songs instead of telling somebody and getting help (don't talk about it, write it down, but don't ask for help). The line "my mind's not a well, it won't run dry" hints that he has a lot of problems and that they won't be ending anytime soon, giving him an endless source of writing material. when he says "accomplishments are transient" i think he's talking about his bands popularity and success. It doesn't matter how successfull he gets or how happy he makes his fans, he's not getting help for his problems so his life isn't going to get any better. The line "did you ever wish you were somebody else?" kinda makes me wonder if he's getting tired of performing and wants to settle down. I sure hope not. This is a great song and i can't wait for the album!

Hey man, no offense but your interpretation is all wrong. This song is based on "The Count Of Monte Cristo" By Alexandre Dahme. (Not sure on the spelling of the last name there. :/ ) The book is about a man named Edmond Dante who pretty much gets fucked over by everyone he knows and gets thrown into jail. He comes out thirsty for Vengance and completley changes himself. (Don't call me by my full name) He finds a treasure on the island of Monte Cristo. He becomes fluent in ALL languages. (Would it be easy to repeat the first...
