anyways song meaning in taylors opinion; actually i have to disagree. i believe that the medication is a metaphor for all the things that he doesnt want to show the girl. all his flaws and mistakes that hes trying to cover up like the beginning of the song is explaining i dont wanna tell you where i am ive had to much to smoke and drink. basically hes saying i dont want u to see me like this, at my lowest point. the medication is him trying to fix all his problems he doesnt want Her to know about.
