I think the chorus is just so beautiful - and it's so true. The people that need love the most never take a chance and go for it. When I listen to this song I imagine a man trying to convince the woman he loves that the risk is worth taking. Strangely the lyric that really gets to me is the one I don't even understand - Don't beg the question when the answer is war. It doesn't really fit with the rest of my idea of what the songs about - but it goes so well.
