Per an interview that he gave, Musiq stated he was speaking to Love, as if it were a person. (kind of like he was writing it a letter) That is what I had gotten from it, but I wasn't too sure, until I read the article. I had heard some people interpreted that he was speaking of 'God', makes sense, 'God is Love'. Others interpreted it as a present relationship, also, untderstandable. I do like, though, that it is an actual conversation with "love" itself. Gives it a deeper and more original feel.
