mmm this song is kinda interesting. i think it describes in a very good way how some people can destroy themselves when they become famous. it´s like even when they have a huge amount of money they are not happy, because there´s something wrong with their personal lives.
this song is basically about this prima donna, christina, who once had it all but now she´s decadent and she feels so alone and miserable.
there are some historical references like when he says "cold as 1334". 1334 was the year when a huge plague of Black Death first occured.
anyway i think that this song is like a tribute to the band christian death, because when this band was reorganized, they were called "christian death 1334"
