This song is so beautiful. It makes me wanna cry half the time. It's pretty obvious that she addicted to cocaine. But it seems she's trying to quit but can't really seem to get out of the scene. She's starting to get on track with her job and school. Maybe I'm reading really deep into it, but I think it kinda seems like she's a bit of an outcast, looked down upon and stuff. But the guy still likes her and wants to help. Maybe to take her away from all of this.
I agree with GavanizedPeach, "Just don't let your life's income determine your life's outcome" is my favourite line.
