this shows maybe that something happened in his life before recording the album version to make him change the lyric. Then in the line
"Work and play they're never ok to mix
To mix the way we do" - Album
and
"Work and play, I'm never mixing the two
And so should you" - Demo
seems weird, almost like the demo should be Work PT 1, and then PT 2 should be the album version.
