i think this song kind of sums up all their relationships from the beginning up to when angel died. for instance, at the beginning of the song everyone is cooperative, i'm not sure if that is the right word, well, at thebeginning everyone is 'getting along well' and after angel's solo [which i kinda think signifies her death] everyone is leaving and breaking up.
that's how i take this song, lots of people i know always say it's so offtrack from the play and unneeded, but i think it was a creative metaphor-y way to display the change in reltionships.
