hes trying to say that are we just giving up our hopes and dreams just because its hard. we fail at it once and so we say i cant do it and hang it up on a cross aad to live a life with no goals, dreams, or hope is useless ... instead we should call for hope and get up after we fall because if we do that we wont "die"... i might be wrong but thats how i see it
