There was a time when this would be a crime, ( to indirectly be responsible for the thousands of American soldiers killed in Iraq). "But now I think I'm losing my mind" "Shall I take back everything I ever said, and live my whole life in silence instead". All this talk about he war, has gotten us no where. Four years into the war, we are still no where. I think he means, that even if he speaks out against the war, it will have no effect.
