i agree with what you guys think but im trying to see a little different. maybe they were in the relationship and as much as she cared about him she was really depressed and he couldnt make it better, she needed to find herself again so she left. and then he says,
"in the morning she was gone, and everything was dry.... and now theres sunshining flowers everywhere.. & i dont care."
thats like she left, and is feeling better being alone but he still loves her, and thinks about her blah blah..
just another look at it.
