"Written in that book of love
Does it say your name above
The name by which they call me?
And is it written in liquid red?
'Cause nothing else will do instead
For reassuring eternity,"
Some of my favorite lines of hers, ever. A song about fate, wondering if it exists, and if so...is her love her true love? are they meant to be, will it last forever...? and in a way, he becomes her religion, because she wants to believe in him -- in the "we" they could become. takes a little faith, I think, so it's a great analogy...
Edited by delial on May 28 2008, at 07:10AM
