this reminded me of the tightened secruity in all British Airports Autumn '06 because of the foiled terror plots.
Also "i would like to leave the ride
Too many emergencies this time" reminded me of 7/7 attacks on the number 30 bus
It doesnt really fit with the rest of the lyrics but I like the idea of it being about find love in day to day "dangerous" city life and having to act a certain way to sort of survive the lifestyle "acting hard's been tough."
I also like the alusions between "hard" and "tough" as an ironic choice of words.
