he's thinkin about her alot, and alot more than he should be and writing the song about her helps, but then he just is more or less trying to convince himself hes just writing it just for the sake of having another song, not giving her the credit.
also tho, what first drew me to this song was the way in which he sings "isn't that cliche of me to do" and "i swear my intentions were well" that note on the end of both lines, i love how he does it with his voice, definitely a really good singer, great song, great band.
