The lack of Sweet fans on this site is appalling. I always loved this song.
It's kind of funny, really, that Sweet took the legend in "Song of Hiawatha," complete with the lovers Hiawatha and Minnehaha, and made it all fun and silly. They did the same thing with Running Bear and White Dove from the song "Running Bear."
