it's too bad that no one has commented on this song, because i find it to be interesting. here's a man who has been in prison for some time and has managed to begin a "normal" life. but the normality of life starts to get to him. "straight time" is hard. not what he's familiar with in terms of outside (of prison) life. down in the basement, there's some contemplation about what to- his former and present life converging. at the end, fantasy or dreams emerge.
