he's basically saying that he (and life in general) is more complex than people think and that you are the only one who can judge yourself correctly.
it is impossible to explain life, and it is impossible to explain everything he lives for - only the individual can decide what is right for them

We as humans often do not see the true beauty in small things, and the bad things we magnify when they should not be.
