This is 1 of the deepest meaningful song I've ever heard! This song speaks about the speakers life and what he feel's while reflecting on all the things he has done and what life had put him through - it defines- "Life is a clay urn on the mantle and we are just the fragments on the floor" Moreover, the speaker see's so much pain and sin in this whole world and he feels faithless to believe in Heaven cuz the corruption and other bad deeds never end eventhough we all pray numerous times so deeply for it to cease - but everything remains the same. And when he says IDEAS OF A SOUL SOCIETY ...THERE MUST BE MORE THAN I CAN SEE...he frames a Universal picture in his mind of how we humans can be together as brothers and sisters living in a perfect world where Mankind and Humanity is seen and not war, hatred, jealousy, and other evils. This song has helped me get through my rough times.... "How can we believe in heaven Human reason counters all Ideas of a soul society My life is just a fragment Of the universe and all There must be more than I can see" \m/(^_^)\m/ Rocks!
