Guys, it's freaking abuse. What she means by "I'm Sorry" is the fact that she upset the person that's abusing her, and here comes the abuse again. In the last verse, she's talking about how she understands what the abuser was going through and why they took it out on her and understands that it wasn't completely their fault.
When she says, "And its not time ((I always thought it was till) I'm told/I am aware of what you mean by then/ I'm only ten years old" She's meaning that she just plain knows what's going to happen, along with referring to the "long december" and stuff in the first verse.
I don't know why you guys are having trouble on dissecting this song... it's so straightforward.
