Like OMGB said, by meeting this guy she realized she was being kinda sleazy, and how bad that first impression she inicially gave was.
Also, I'm thinking the 'I don't know if I could drive a car/Fast enough to get to where you are' or 'I don't know if I could fly a plane/Well enough to tail spin out your name' may be her trying to get his attention or trying to reach him, but for her (for some reason) it's impossible to accomplish this.
