I'm surprised no one's commented on this one yet. This almost seems like a sequel to Nos de Cariad to me, only the feeling is much more peaceful. What strikes me here is the image of swans on the jet black water, and makes me think of someone walking through the park at sunset thinking about someone they've lost. This is a beautiful song, and I think David Gray is one of the best songwriters when it comes to blending music with imagery in his words.
