The line "i could sail a river run dead" is brutal. if a guy ever said that about me i would, as those with very little lives would say, "drop kick him in the face." they're basically saying i COULD give you a shot, honey, but youre just not worth my time and i dont care enough about you to try and make this work. I had this problem with a guy once. great guy, liked him a lot, but he was just such a jerk that i just didnt have the energy to try to make it work, he was freakin hopeless. sorry for the borin anecdote, but thats what this song means to me. its the sweetest form of satisfaction when you can look a person in the face and say, its pointless. and does anybody else like the "dont want you ringin my bell"?? you think thats literal?? =]
