I think this whole song is aimed at catholic church. The way i see third verse is about how catholic church invented god and they constantly manipulate heaven and hell to keep us afraid and make us go to church. And then there is a line which says:
"Seeds have been planted in the name of the son"
this one probably refers to jesus but then again "seeds of what"? maybe fear of hell? seeds of religion? i really need help with that one. I hope someone finds my uncoherent thoughts usefull. This song rises more questions the more i look at it : )
