I think the "it" in this song is mostly love. I think this song is about being in a relationship with someone for a long time and even though you're not so enthusiastic about it, feeling like you should get married, just because it's the thing you're supposed to do. I guess generally it could be about making any sort of commitment.
Ehhh... not too sure I think it's about making a commitment. I feel it's more prone to be about existing, just living. "You don't have to overcome your confusion. You only have to feel." It seems to me to just be a plead to just feel, to live with emotion and feeling and not try to accomplish all these external meaningless goals.
