No matter how many times I hear this song, I still never quite understand it. If anything, it does remind me of some of the concepts of eastern religions- that our world is made up of illusions, and when we forget ourselves and surrender to all that is eternal, we find enlightenment.
I love the chorus-- just the idea of the will of one human being having power enough to rend the sky and shatter the moon. Would that not be evidence of the strength of the soul?
