i think this is for sure about a break up. but i dont get why dont they try at it again. obviously they both have feelings for each other still. and i think the couple have both turned to drinking to cope. and unfortunatly have become addictedd. which explains wasted. or mabe just the man is using alcohol and the woman is just wasting her life by doing nothing.
