The song is the results two separate songs by Pete Ham and Tom Evans being put together much the way John Lennon and Paul McCartney once did. Pete's vocals are, as usual, beautiful and soulful. Tommy's vocals seem a little tentative on the chorus, and it might have worked better had Pete sung the chorus, or if Tom had been more sure of himself. Nonetheless, the song is sadly beautiful.
