it's pretty obvious it's about mumtaz mahal and shah jahan. she was his favourite wife and on her deathbed (during the birth of their 14th child) she asked him to build her a monument as a symbol of love, and she asked him not to marry anyone else. he obliged and now we have the taj mahal!
