I agree with both of the above statements. However, considering the last couple of lines, and the fact that there are no other obvious references to preachers and religion, I'd say it's also about the afterlife.

She's had a bad life, her husband (I think) cheated on her because he found happiness elsewhere; because she killed him she'll lose her freedom; The preacher says that if she prays for forgiveness she might go to heaven (where it's better).

The final dark thing is that heaven, regardless of beliefs, can't be prooven to exist. Les said it was a particularly dark song once live! However I think the positive thing to take from it (though Primus are dark, there's always hope in there): We don't know about the afterlife, so make the most of this life, without worrying about how happy you are because it's always better elsewhere!
