One of the best actually, my asumption is that it means that this is the final Lamenting Kiss to the god of darkness(Satan), the last time the writer is sucking up to him hoping he'll make things better, and that the writer wants to move faith to the true God because he is the only one who can help the lost and hopeless. That's my opinion though.
