I can't begin to tell everyone here how true this song really is. I have felt this way many times - with several people in my life, but the one that stands out for me the most is my brother...
I told him about who God was and is in his life the very last time I saw him. I told him how much God loved him, and constantly, I would pray for God to give me the words to speak - the right words. I thank God that I did not hold back when I spoke to my brother - because really, it was my last time speaking to him. I told him that this song made me think of him - that I didn't want to lose him - and I prayed that he knew who Jesus was and is in his life. My best friend had lost her brother 2 weeks before this. I told him I didn't want to lose him. I gave him a CD. THIS was the first song on the CD. I wanted him to hear it. He said he would listen to it on the way home. Please note the lines: "time is not his friend, this might be my last chance to tell him that You love him". It was my last chance. My brother died 3 days later in a car accident. When I went to my mom's house that night, in her CD player, was the CD. THIS was the first song that played for me. God is real and He is with us.
