The only way this could be about racism would be if he actually with the 'my land'-part refers to an actual nation, and if the kevlar is a symbol for the fear of what you don't know, of a different cultur expanding within your own safe borders. I think that's a good description of how some people against immigration feel.
This said, I do not share these thoughts and feelings, I'm simply trying to figure the lyrics out together with the possibility of them being about racism. Considering how surreal many of Kent's lyrics are, especially the originals, I wouldn't be surprised if they left it open for interpretation :)
