I'm sorry to disagree with most of you but i actualy belive that this song has nothing to do with pregnancy. In my opinion this song is about someone who has just started on the long walk of a new religion, in my opinion christianity, and they are being given advice by the band. Light surronding you could mean the light of God surrounding and guiding them. Also in the bible it talks about becoming a new creation, and perhaps this person is afraid, "don't be afraid of what your turning into". So yeah.
