That probably means that she just doesn't want to actually SAY that it's over. She just wants him to understand it's over. She wants him to know that she had to give up because he doesn't treat her well or something like that. She wants him to know she tried to keep their relationship together but she needed to let go. She still loves him,though. The part where it says, "It's just,just one of those things" she means it's fate and it happens because it's supposed to.
