I don't know many songs by Tu Pac to be honest, but I've got one of his albums and I really love what I've heard of him. I love his voice, his rapping style and the way he captures the raw real hardcore truth of all situations. I love the way he tells stories in sympathetic or explanatory ways rather than judgmentally. This song makes me think of my ex-best friend who had a boyfriend back about three years ago and who she thought she was going to marry as soon as she got out of high school. She said they were gonna be together forever and have eight children. She even had their names picked out and everything. But then she started to think that she didn't want to wait till she was eighteen to have herself a baby and started pestering her boyfriend to get her pregnant that year. He was hesitant, but eventually gave in. They never got the chance to be alone long enough to do it though which is good because I know that a fourteen year old girl and a fifteen year old boy could not have raised a child together in their situation. My friend was going to be a cheerleader and the guy would have skipped out once she was pregnant. They broke up a few months later and I'm so glad they never did anything. She'd have been stuck up in the world all alone without any help and she wouldn't have known what to do.
