Isnt it just about him killing some ex-girlfriend or something.
With 'whe you've got nothing left to turn black and blue' meaning that the person's already been beaten so badly they have nowhere else on their body left to bruise or something.
I dunno, most of the songs are about the same thing really - relationships gone wrong :p
