I've heard other people say that they think it's actually about someone with some form of Dissociative Identity Disorder (Multiple Personality Disorder), but personally I disagree.
I think "Celestine" is just a side of the singer's personality that she dislikes and tries to suppress. She tries to suppress it (her) because she doesn't believe it is appropriate to have promiscuous or erotic sex, get into fights, and do things like wearing 'exotic underwear'. She doesn't like that she enjoys these things, and she doesn't want to be compelled to behave in such a way, but she can't help it.
