i actually find this song more uplifting than depressing. the music itself reminds me somewhat of lucky, it deffinately sounds more epic and grand then their minimalist work, but the lyrics seem to hint like he's trying to get over depression or saddness. he's been "stuck in a lift... in the belly of a whale". his depression and saddness has consumed him whole, he's trapped by it and finally realizes that people are trying to save him and "it's time to go home". in the end he's sees that he is finally out and he should "lighten up" for "today is the first day of the rest of your days". to me it kinda ties into the themes of being reborn present in airbag
