I believe in reincarnation, and when I first heard this song, it didn't really mean anything to me, but then my dog, (who was pretty much my sister... actually, pretty much half of me) died, and I started listening to this song harder. "By the dawn I'll be gone" She died before dawn, and she was so young... God was she young... So pretty much as I listen to this song, I hear my dog talking to me, telling me to wait for her while her soul finds a new life connected to mine.
