the author is in an extrem amount of pain. he likes the pain though, like the pleasure a cutter gets from cutting himself. it seems like he is being rejected or shut out by a friend. the cause is possibly a drug.the friend being someone younger or female who he felt he had to protect. that friend is a hypocrite. he is desperate for peace. THis song is amazing because when i listen to it, it makes me feel like i am high, on ecstacy or something. im emersed in the sounds and the feelings the sounds evoke. thats it, thats all i got. lol
