I really love this song, especially when they play it live. I find it fun to analyze though, because at first, "she" is waiting for Davey, or the person who Davey is referring to as the singer/narrator. He returns to her, and then, HE'S waiting for HER. Everything is now reversed. It's like an infinite search for each other. I find that they're both lost and never found. It's a wonderful song.
