Surprised there's no comments on this one yet. I love Kate Nash's stuff, and this is one of her best. Lyrics are pretty self-explanatory, it's about a young couple and he's trying to explain to his girlfriend how he feels about her. The closest he can come is by comparing her to birds - he knows she's got the potential to hurt him ("birds can fly so high or they can shit on your head") and the way he feels about her scares him ("they can almost fly into your eye and make you feel so scared") but at the end of the day he's willing to take a chance on her ("when you look at them, and you see that they're beautiful, that's how I feel about you").
Love the ending too - "he said 'cool'".
Kate's only 19 - looks like she's going to be around for some time to come.
