Some info on the song title. The numbers come from revelations. There is a series of numbers in the Bible's Revelations: 17:9-14, that goes as follows... 7,7,1,7,5,1,1,8,7,10, 10,1,1,600... notice that the fifth, eight, and tenth numbers are five, eight, and ten, respectively. 5, 8, and 10 add up to 23, which is said to be the number of death, but I don't think that is relevant to this song. 5 is grace (which chris sings of again and again), 8 is new birth, 10 is divine perfection. the last lines "try and start again" seems to reference the new birth. and yet another allusion to the Bible and Revelations, along with the plank and the white horse. just some random rambling observations... make of it what you will.
