This song is obviously about "loving your neighbor as yourself". Dan (the lead singer) also said so at one of their concerts. It kind of reminds me of the story of the good samaritan, but I'm not absolutely sure how it was inspired.
because the good samartitan was a story in the bible about how these people passed the man because of their beliefs and the person who actually got him took the man to an inn and thats an example of loving..but technically he wasnt supposed to do that because touching a man about to die or something was considered 'unclean'
