For years I listened to this tune, always fond of it, and though I liked the lyrics a lot because of their uplifting content, I never knew exactly what were they about.
Now it all makes sense (hehe... agreeing that with the title of the album) since each verse fits perfectly with the birth of one's son.
I find it beautiful to dedicate such an inspiring song to your son as a gift of good will accompanying him from his birth all along his life. As it is, the meaning conveyed in this song springs as water from a fountain from its very inception.
Now, 15 years after I wrote this comment, my son is two years old. He's happy and heatlhy and I couldn't be more grateful to the universe (and to whoever is responsible for it) because of that. Both these lyrics and my comment take on a much more real meaning.
