Mebbe his new pc wasn't working and he was on the fone w/the 800 number and the tech support clown was basically giving him no help. Saying "nothing" in millions of ways and words.
He bought the thing, and taught the thing, and fought the thing but they told him it was acting normal but he felt they were keeping him dumb. Obviously they weren't listening because they were missing something and he still felt dumb.
In the end they were still empty since they had no advice to give, so he's boxing it up and sending it back.
Why's he naked? Well (a) he's Mike Patton, and (b) they're keeping him hot, weren't you listening?
This all leads to him feeling Helpless in the next track.
The part that I don't understand is the "I taught the thing" line. What does it make reference to?
If it was "I was taught the thing", it would make much more sense. But many lyrics are written without the intention of making sense.
