Lovely song... It seems the person has tried to escape something, but somehow she cannot and its difficult for her to forget about it. Perhaps this something is a person she once loved and saw was not acceptable to her life. This something could also be her hometown, family, or herself. Somehow its hard for her to let go of the past, she might or want to try. I also noted the song from the perspective of a person who does not feel welcome in where she is or was, and she has decided to run away from that place, trying to forget about it all and reach to live a newer life all on her own, But can she?
